A Michigan native, Nicole Bonsall received her early classical ballet training under the tutelage of her mother Julie Bonsall. She spent her Summers’ training on full scholarship at such prestigious schools as The Joffrey Ballet, Houston Ballet and Ballet West amongst others.

Her professional career included a principle dancer with the Alabama Ballet under the direction of the renowned Dame Sonia Arova, where she danced numerous leading roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy, Le Corsaire Pas de deux as well as Snow White in Thor Sutowski’s original ballet. As a member of the Atlanta she danced several ballets such as Paquita, Midsummer’s Night Dream, Stars and Stripes and Carmina Burana under the direction of Robert Barnett.

She had the privilege of starting her professional career under the direction of the acclaimed Ben Stevenson at the Houston Ballet.

Additionally, She was honored to have danced for the Queen of Sweden and tour Taiwan performing Balanchine’s Four Temperaments.

Ms. Bonsall continues to share her love of ballet and technical expertise through teaching. She encourages her students to embrace their inner artistry and follow their true passion.

Nicole is proud to have graduated Cum Laude from Oakland University.
